”The Align Inn has been a welcome retreat for me while I work in Hanover during the week. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room is comfy clean and quiet.”

”Excellent location opposite Quechee Gorge; quaint, charming old-time Inn; very quiet. The on-premises restaurant was outstanding, both in terms of the food and the serving staff. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our dinner and next morning's excellent breakfast. On the minus side, the air conditioner cycled on/off frequently in short, annoying bursts. The room furniture was eclectic and dated, although the bed was comfortable. The old plank floors creaked noisily, which didn't really bother us,...

”Staff and property was Excellent. But EXPEDIA totally messed up the reservation. Their offshore help was friendly but very unhelpful. Their unwillingness to resolve their screw-up cost be $$$ (and I am just a low paid worker), so it made the caused the entire stay to be miserable”

”Older place yet clean. Bathroom lacked vent and steamed up very quickly. shower head was harsh with little adjustment. Koi pond was cool. Pool and spa were okay. Breakfast was great. Desk staff were very friendly.”

”The Shire is in a wonderful location and I would recommend for a short stay. They are in the midst of a renovation and the rooms and exterior are nice and well kept. My only issue was that the coffee bars were not well stocked all the time with the same variety and the ice machine was not well stocked as it ran out of water to produce ice during our 2 night stay. Otherwise, the place and location is wonderful.”

There was no outdoor furniture. Yet, all things considered, we got our money's worth, and the location is great by the river.”
