”The ION Adventure was a great landing spot for our stay just outside Thingvellir National Park. The hotel was new, modern and sustainable. It offered great amenities like the pool, sauna with complimentary buffet ”
”Hotel Örk was much more than we expected to 3 star hotel. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, the breakfast was good. For one evening there were nice nature to explore and the geothermal park was nice small and budget friendly place to visit. Also here was grocery store on walking distance. I would spent the night here also again.”

”We were really excited to stay here, but there were multiple reasons we probably wouldn't again. The pictures make these tents looks like they are isolated. Instead they are located in a semicircle 10 feet each other, meaning there is not a lot of privacy and you will hear your neighbors' conversations. The path to get to our assigned tent was only partially cut, walking through 2-ft tall weeds. The screen material on our tent's entrance had a large rip and the zipper didn't work to fully close...
"The room was comfortable and the views to the sea were awesome, though blocked a little by salt stains on the windows. The personnel in the hotel were very helpful. The breakfast had everything I wanted and more. The location was great. I like to take the stairs where possible and found a way to do so also at this hotel but the way was not very clearly marked - something to consider for sustainability and decreasing waiting times for lifts."
