”My second time at the H & F. What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely tasteful rooms, superb food, incredible staff and most important of all an excellent choice of locally brewed well kept ales. ”
”Great B&B quick check in by phoning the number on the door, keys in keybox after owner supplied code,spacious very clean room/beds ,tea & coffee,towels,shower gel,cotton buds & cotton pads (great extra).Great cooked breakfast, very friendly staff, 15 min walk to town centre with loads of restaurants.Free parking at the side of B&B”

Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.

”Spent one night in the hotel. The hotel is situated by a lake and the surroundings are pretty. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgrated for a better room. The room was AMAZING: big, clean, had a luxury feel to it and lovely view to the lake. The cooked breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. Only downside was that there was no dinner served. Would love to stay in this hotel again :)”
