âOverall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby.
The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower.
Only two reasons it didnât get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was...

âWe were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

âReally friendly owners Hugh and Marian, very good company! They took us up to feed the horses and meet the other friendly animals.
We stayed in a little independent suite which was warm and cosy. Extreme comfortably bed!!

âWe had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. Breakfast good and plenty of it - Lincolnshire sausage excellent.
Beware carparking access a little tricky to negotiate. Easy access to local shops and golf course! â
