”Excellent hotel, would certainly recommend.”

”Newly-built hotel on a quiet side street. Clean, modern rooms with attached bath and shower. No a/c however, but the climate is cool up at this altitude. No English spoken but staff makes an effort to communicate with translation apps. Decent breakfast. Several parking spots in gated courtyard for regular-sized vehicles. ”Came for a week during the off-season (September). Good: Price was good, scenery was excellent, environment was peaceful and quiet, cabin was well-maintained with good cooking/sleeping/bathroom facilities. Bad: We didn’t realize the resort was in a park and entrance tickets needed to be purchased daily, including for Yandex (Russian Uber) drivers. In addition, the Yandex price was a whopping 4-5 times higher to go to Karakol from Ski Paradise compared to ordering a ride around town. Ugly:...
