”Basic hotel but absolutely fine. Good value for money and great location. Be aware the Room 1 is over the kitchen and their air conditioner produces loud buzzing noise in the room until late. Staff sympathetic but unable to help. ”

”Location was ideal for me as i needed to stay near family. Although there is nothing near by apart from Starbucks, Costa, KFC 10 mins away. The rooms were ok, bedding was clean Although underneath the beds was not. I found not nice things in there, like chewing gum, cigarette papers, French fries. I only used the rooms to sleep and shower. The main issue for me was the window latches were missing or very loose and i did not feel safe while sleeping. The windows are not double glazed. The room...

”1) the mattress will seem comfortable. 2) for breakfast I ordered pastries for my room.. I also reminded them again before the bar closed. They said that they would be deliver this to my room. This never happened.”

”As ever, an excellent visit. Comfortable, spacious room in an historic building. The restaurant is excellent. The breakfast is superb - a wonderful breakfast room with traditional table service.. ”

”Nice old style place with good rooms with Nespresso coffee machines and clean towels. Comfortable bed and good free parking tucked from but closed to fast roads. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Will go again.”

”Staff are super friendly and helpful. I like the fact that the accessible rooms have a walk in shower opposed to climbing into a lowered bath, which some similar priced hotels nearby have. The location is convenient to where my family live, and away from the city centre, but adjacent to the showground, so depending upon which activities people wish to access, may impact customers choosing this venue.”
