  • Casa Purnell on itsepalvelumajoitusta tarjoava 2 makuuhuoneen, 2 äskettäin uusitun kylpyhuoneen, Las Gaviotas -huvila, josta on 180 asteen näkymä Tyynellemerelle. Se sijaitsee kävelytien vieressä, joka johtaa rantaa, oceanside-yhdistysuima-allasta, poreallasta ja sekoituslevyä. Tenniskenttä sijaitsee noin 5 talon päässä. (Katso tarkka sijainti kartalta)

    Huvilassa on äskettäin uusittu keittiö, joka on varustettu ruokia, ruokia ja mausteita. Kodinkoneisiin kuuluu kaasuliesi, leivänpaahdin, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone, tehosekoitin ja kahvinkeitin. Siellä on makuuhuone, jossa parisänky ja oma kylpyhuone. Toisessa välillä on kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Kylpyhuoneissa on lakanat ja pyyhkeet.

    Patio on BBQ ja takka pöytä nauttiaksesi. Muita ylellisyyksiä ovat taulu-tv paikallisella kaapelilla, DVD-soitin, takka ja tietysti WIFI.

    Las Gaviotas on Kalifornian Baja "kruununjalokivi". Se on aidattu yhteisö, jossa on 24 vartiointia ja joka sijaitsee noin 45 minuutin päässä eteläpuolella Yhdysvaltojen ja Meksikon rajalta Rosariton rannan ja Ensenadan välillä, noin 5 minuutin päässä Puerto Nuevon hummerekylästä. Jos etsit stressitöntä rentouttavaa ympäristöä, tämä on paikka. Valitettavasti lemmikkejä ei saa tuoda.

Clean and cozy

Had a great stay at the house. Very clean and comfortable beds and linens! Loved the big bathtub in the second bathroom. House had everything you needed and more in the kitchen. Would definitely come back and stay again!

We loved our stay

The house was perfectly sized for our family of four. We enjoyed some beautiful nights on the balcony with the firetable. The house was very clean and Las Gaviotas is a Perfect Place for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle.

Most beautiful view and the place was Fabulous!

Great weekend trip!

Loved this house. Right on the path to go straight to the pool and beach area. Comfortable beds and all the kitchen stuff you will need. My favorite part was the fire place on the patio. Loved sitting there during sunset with a glass of wine.

Really nice place!

We loved the round-shaped living room, very welcoming. The house has all you may need. Although the bedrooms are small, the beds are very comfy. Beautiful view from living room and balcony which was important to us. Easy check in and check out, Zach was very responsive.

Great Place!

We really liked the unique brick work and coziness of the place. The house is very cool, clean and the community is very safe. The surf break is the best right I have surfed in Northern Baja. I can imagine the beach might get a bit small and the hot tub may get a bit crowded during busy holiday weekends, but no complaints from our group. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mark!!!

Casa Purnell Great location inside Gavioty communityand view while giving you privacy

If you are planning on visiting Rosarito, I would recommend Las Gaviotas. It is a nice, tranquil and gated community next to the beach. We stayed at Casa Purnell. I loved the views. You can see the ocean from the living room area and balcony. The pool and jacuzzi are a short walk away. I like how is close enough to the beach (3-5 minutes walking) and at same time you get privacy, something you don't get if you rent a house right in front of beach or near main pathways. The interior appliances and electronics are moderate, but we were mainly there for location and view. Wifi worked well in all rooms. I would recommend staying here, cute home and nighly stay is reasonably priced.

Such a cute spot! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Loved checking in and lighting up the fire pit outside and enjoying the view. I highly suggest grocery shopping in the US or at least before checking in. Once you check in you won’t want to leave. Puerto Nuevo is around the corner. It can be exhausting dealing with the vendors and the food is pretty expensive for Mexico. Walking to Ollie’s Pizza place was great. It’s now our favorite pizza place. Our 5 year old was excited about the pool and beach being so close and she would play in the little loft upstairs. The security is strict and won’t allow children in the jacuzzi which was kind of a bummer. We went during the winter so it was too chilly for the Pool. The owner does mention in the handbook that the lights will trip if you run the heater while the bathroom lights are on but we had read it after our lights went out and the closet where the circuit breaker was locked. Other than that our stay was smooth. The staff and other guests in the gated community were so friendly. Great place to let the kids run around worry free in Mexico.

Great family get away

We had a great experience. Owners were super accommodating, let us check in a few hours early because the property was ready. Quick response to my questions, beautiful views easy to walk to other properties, beach and pool. We stayed with our 2 little kids 2 and 1 years old. There is a few steps inside but it ended up working fine. Rented in November the house gets very cold but there were a few space heaters that worked great! Would recommend to others.

Charming retreat at Las Gaviotas

We were at Las Gaviotas for a wedding and it was wonderful. From the start, Zach and Mark had been proactive communicators which certainly helped for my first visit to Mexico! The house itself is very charming and surprisingly private (compared to some of the other houses). The basic necessities were provided (it's so nice to wake up and be able to make a fresh pot of coffee without having to find a store). One cannot underestimate how lovely it is to have potable water from the tap in Mexico. The house is located close to the main gate and also close to the community areas which was amazing! Pro tip: Call Miry for a massage (her details are in the house rules) Pro tip #2: Check out the Bleu coffee shop across the highway from Las Gaviotas (tho look both ways before crossing the highway!)

Thank you for letting our family rent out your beautiful Las Gaviotas home! We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, well-designed space. It had all we needed - everything was user-friendly, we found the gated community to be family-friendly, clean and amenable to our needs. The location was so accessible and couldn't have been better for our shopping and dining needs as well. We enthusiastically recommend Paradise South of the Border and would definitely return. Beach Front vacation

My family and enjoyed our stay, property has everything you need! View is incredibly beautiful of ocean front property secure with security gaurd and Pool is clean and heated. Inside home is clean, cozy, theres internet and cable beds are very comfortable with full kitchen with all you need to cook. Overall our family enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Paradise while in Baja

I am no stranger to Las Gaviotas and CASA PURNELL is one of the best homes I've stayed at. It is a very cozy home, perfect for a family getaway or a couples getaway. The view is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located to the pool and beach. Zach was very helpful with all the rental arrangements and made me and my husband feel very welcomed in his home. Wow this place is everything it's hyped up to be. From the minute you enter the gates you felt like you were back home in the US!! The ocean views are to die for and the ocean sound at night time put us all to sleep. Casa Purnell has everything you need that if you don't want to leave you don't need to. This home is in a central area that was close to both Ensenada and Rosarito for day trips which was easy to get to and from. Our family (We have a 4 year old and 1 1/2 year old) enjoyed the private beach, pool and jacuzzi areas and walks along the shoreline which runs along the pacific ocean. It was very safe and we look forward to going back later this year. Thanks Zach for the warm hospitality!

Cozy home with a convenient location

Zach (the owner) was extremely helpful and communicative before and during my stay. The home itself with all the exposed bricks on the inside provided a cozy, home-away-from-home feel. The convenient location is just a few houses past the gate and has a stairway next to the house that leads down to the pool/jacuzzi. The beds were comfortable, and it was really nice having two full bathrooms. There is a small loft above the hallway with two twin-size mattresses on the floor which would be really great for kids or flexible adults. I didn't use it during my stay, but I did climb up there to check it out. It's not tall enough for an adult to stand up, maybe only 3-4 feet from floor to ceiling. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals even though there is no full-size oven, only a small toaster oven on the counter. The ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms were great for moving air around and the provided space heaters in almost every room kept the evenings warm. The wifi was sufficient with download speeds up to 6Mbps, although there was a 2-day outage during my stay due to Las Gaviotas doing service on their phone lines. I was able to stream Netflix with a device I brought with me. The TV is a little small for the distance from the couch, however that's not really why I went to Mexico, so it isn't a problem. The A/V receiver in the living room has several speakers attached to it that would have been great for listening to music while cooking or hanging out at the house, but it seemed to be on its last leg as it kept cutting out every 5 seconds. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Purnell for couples with children or four people looking for a place to stay. I know I'll be back!
