Huvilat – Tilaran

”What a unique stay! Bungalows are in the woods surrounded by nature. We felt secluded and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. The hiking trails were wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and modern and come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Also conveniently close to restaurants and shops. Loved it!”

”We had a fantastic time! Orlando (the owner), his family, and all of the staff were so kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed the thermal longevity circuit, plus we went tubing down the river which was a blast too! On day 2 we did the cultural coffee, chocolate, tortilla demonstration and we also went on a short hike through the trail where Orlando helped us spot a sloth! We had the pizza at the resort the first night, so then we wanted to try out some authentic Costa Rican and he was able to...

”The property was quiet, away from town a few minutes. The hosts were so friendly and wonderful to us. The bungalows were in very good shape and very clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!”

”The view was unbelievable. The trip to the property was treacherous. From LaFortuna it may only be 10 miles, but it will take you at least 40 minutes and that is during the day with ideal weather. Do not attempt to drive this after dark. Because of this, we made sure to be back at the property by dark, after arriving there, only once, during the dark. They do serve breakfast a dinner and it is good. If you are going for a romantic get away, this is ideal!”

”Great place to stay. 2 miles from the center of LaFortuna. Only issue we had was it is a duplex. The metal and concrete block building does nothing to reduce mouse from the other rental. It can be loud and disturbing at times. I don’t think the listing mentioned it being a duplex. ”
