”I was looking for a home away from home. Mom‘s places is as close as it gets to a wholesome, calm environment with access to everything you may need. I frequent Jamaica often and stayed in many guest houses in many hotels. I’ve even rented from locals and I will say that Mom‘s place exceeds my expectations. I will be returning every time I come to Jamaica. The price is right and the vibes are memorable. Like waking up to smooth jazz in the morning on the beach. ”
”Great location by the beach. Continental breakfast was OK, included fruits, bread, cake, juice - sufficient for most mornings. Friendly staff. Location in middle of Seven mile beach, perfect beach access. Good bar and sunbathing area.
On the other hand, we paid an extra for a room with oceanview. Beware, there is a difference between "oceanview" and "partial oceanview"!. In practise, we could just see a glimse of the ocean from our room; the balcony was not facing westwards but southwards.

”Very nice hotel at the beautiful white sand beach. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. The hotel area is well maintained, very safe and well secured. Many good restaurants and mini marts near by. The only minus thing was the near by bar&restaurant Bourbon, they had very loud parties EVERY night. The music and bass was so loud that i could hear it even i had my earpluggs on.”
”Travelling solo it was a great place to relax and unwind in September, the pool and beach were beautiful. Room was clean and the fridge was an added bonus. The grounds reminded me of a rain forest especially when it was raining I was still able to sit on my patio and enjoy it.
