”Very very nice and small hotel. The service is excellent. So so kind people always welcoming you. As the hotel is small, the breakfast is served in your room, and it was the best brekfast we have had in a 3 weeks travel. Location is perfect, we would highly recommend this hotel. ”
”We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). ”It was our family’s first time staying at a machiya. It was an easy place to find upon arrival in Kyoto. The house was lovely. The tea ceremony at check-in along with the Japanese sweets were much appreciated. They were able to help us arrange for delivery of our luggage onwards to our next city. The room was clean and as expected a bit small but LARGE for Japan . The only thing that I would change is Chairs and table to stay in the room are extra from my POV
I would have remove a chair and a table and just leave the night stand and a chair to have a bit more of room for luggage

”We stayed at Yadotu Kyoto Hanare for 6 days and it was amazung!! This place is truly extraordinary - you get lots of space, full comfort and luxury in real, authentic Japanese way. It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful home after a long day filled with fantastic experiences. We are very thankful for having the opportunity to stay here. It made our adventure in Japan even more unforgettable. I would highly recommend this amazing place.”
”We stayed in Tokyo and Osaka prior to our stay here in Kyoto at Maeniiya Machiya Inn. Maeniiya Machiya Inn is a definite great place to stay and close to everything.
Akemi (property owner) is a wealth of knowledge and gave a lot of tips and recommendations. Be sure to visit Sukemasa for dinner if you like Gyoza. It is very close and yummy for 1000yen!

”Konaklamamız harikaydı, herşeyden çok memnun kaldık. Otel merkeziydi, yürüyerek bile bir çok yere ulaşabildik, yürümek istemezseniz metro durağı çok yakın. Oda harikaydı, büyüklüğü gayet iyiydi. Çalışanlar çok yardımsever ve güleryüzlüydü. Fiyat anlamında da çok uygundu. Oda tamamen resimlerde gözüktüğü gibiydi, ayrıca manzaramız yola bakıyordu, çok güzeldi. Our room had two floors and a private onsen, which was the ultimate way to relax at the end of each day.

"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location.
Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance.
Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly.
Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing.
With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."
"Parasta hotellissa oli sen "kylpyläosasto" eli Onsen.
Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
