”The view is phenomenal, we enjoyed every minute. No cooking in the room however there is a fridge and microwave along with plates, glasses, cups, etc. Tranquility is offered here especially this time of year late April. THE STAFF DEFINITELY CARES ABOUT HOSPITALITY! ”

”Our room was clean. However, the hotel seemed a bit rundown. We also had to wait about 10 minutes to check in because there was nobody at the front desk. I was starting to get worried but finally someone came. I think he was the only one currently working. Also, most of the exterior doors, even though they had scanners for your key card, did not work and were propped open or did not close all the way. Although my room locked properly, it just was a weird feeling to think that anybody could just...

”My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. Host was super friendly and breakfast was always delicious. Room was clean. The only thing that I think needs attention was our bathroom. The shower could use a good spray for mildew and the drain cover is not attached to anything. But other than that I would recommend this place.”

”me and my wife were passing through Williamsburg and found this hotel thought it would be a decent hotel considering it was $230 a night. When we checked in there were wet towels in the bathroom the floor was wet , the toilet paper holder was torn off the wall. There was mould in the bathroom, and also the baseboards were peeling off the wall enough that someone could trip over it. Definitely will not be staying at a country in in the future. I will plan ahead better and stick with what I’m used...

”The room we were given had a smoke smell but we we soon given another room that was fine. Everything worked well. Breakfast ok -- except for the all-too-common plastic cutlery and plates -- not ecological. ”

”Very friendly staff, clean,comfortable room with extra comfy beds and fabulous pillows! The complimentary breakfast was very nicely set up and the young ladies attending everything there were very friendly.”

”Had to ask on day 3 for someone to bring clean towels and empty trash. That was the only day the room was serviced. Our room smelled like a wet dog. The staff was very nice. I dont know if they lack in staff but there hospitality part is lacking severely!”

”If you're just staying a few nights, this place is sufficient for the price. Bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom needed some repairs - the ceiling was falling apart and the room could use a good deep clean. The pool wasn't open yet, so we weren't able to use it. Overall, for the price it was okay. If we just need to stay one night, we will probably stay here again. Workers were nice, breakfast had a nice variety (yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, juices)....

”This is a very basic stay. Room was relatively clean; however, there was no hot or warm water - staff never told us upon check-in even though we found out a pipe burst a few days prior and it hadn't been repaired. Curtains didn't open or close, air system was difficult to adjust, and the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything outside your door. Prior to booking or staying, I recommend asking when the room was previously stayed in and whether there are any issues.”
