Torre del Mago, joka sijaitsee muutaman kilometrin pÀÀssÀ kuuluisasta keskiaikaisesta kaupungista Todista, on loistava maapaikka hallitsevassa rinteessÀ, ja se on rakennettu alkuperÀisillÀ kivillÀ keskiaikaisen vartiotornin muinaisten perusteiden ylÀpuolelle.

NykyÀÀn Torre del Mago tarjoaa vierailijoille, jotka rakastavat historiaa, luontoa ja realxia, mahdollisuuden viettÀÀ unohtumattomia oleskeluja myös siksi, ettÀ paikan kauneus ja taikuus ovat pysyneet tÀsmÀlleen sellaisina kuin ne olivat ...

Wir hatten gemeinsam mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern mit Partnerinnen und Kleinkind und Geschwistern einen wunderbaren Familienaufenthalt. Die Villa ist hierfĂŒr hervorragend ausgestattet. Unser Gastgeber Gian war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat viele gute Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge und gute einheimische Lokale, sowie fĂŒr aktuelle Veranstaltungen in der nĂ€heren Umgebung gemacht. Im sehr geschmackvoll angelegten Garten und im und am Pool haben wir uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Betten waren bequem und die Badezimmer sauber und gepflegt. Sogar ein GemĂŒsebeet zur Nutzung der Villabesucher stand zur VerfĂŒgung.Die Villa steht auf einem HĂŒgel und bietet einen Rundumblick auf die herrliche weite Landschaft Umbriens. Alle unsere Mitreisenden waren begeistert.

Wow! The spectacular view at sunset, the serene location, the large deep pool, the soft comfortable beds and bedrooms, the air con, the host were all absolutely fantastic. 8 of us for a week in 36c heat and it was stunning. We had a terrific time exploring the local area and wider region. Gian (host) you did a great job. We look forward to coming back soon.

What a trip! Gian (the host) was extremely helpful, our luggage was left behind at a different airport, Gian was extremely understanding about our delay and even arranged some food for us! He was always available to call and made our stay fantastic. The villa itself was stunning, lovely panoramic views of the area and very private without being in the middle of nowhere. The house was split into various apartments however we only used the bottom floor, which was more than enough. The kitchen was better than our own, everything was beautifully furnished and comfortable (especially the pool!). The garden was huge with lots of seating area, lawn etc and we never had any issues. Thank you so much for a wonderful time Gian!

Wunderschöne Villa in traumhafter Lage mit großem PoolWir hatten das große GlĂŒck, einige herrliche Tage in dieser traumhaften Villa in Umbrien verbringen zu dĂŒrfen. Das Haus liegt in absoluter Alleinlage auf einem weitlĂ€ufigen, liebevoll gepflegten GrundstĂŒck mit Zypressen, duftendem Rosmarin, Rosen und alten Steineichen – ein mediterraner Traum! Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der atemberaubende Rundumblick in die sanfte, typisch umbrische HĂŒgellandschaft – ein Ort voller Ruhe und Schönheit.Die Villa selbst ist Ă€ußerst geschmackvoll und stilsicher im landestypischen Stil eingerichtet. Man spĂŒrt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet wurde. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr gut ausgestattete KĂŒche, die keine WĂŒnsche offen lĂ€sst – ideal fĂŒr alle, die gern kochen und regionale Produkte genießen möchten.Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt war unser Host Gian Cappelli: Bestens in der Region vernetzt, hat er uns mit zahlreichen wertvollen, individuell passenden Empfehlungen zu Restaurants, lokalen MĂ€rkten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten versorgt. Dabei war er jederzeit schnell erreichbar und angenehm unaufdringlich – genau die richtige Mischung aus UnterstĂŒtzung und ZurĂŒckhaltung.Die Lage des Hauses ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die nahegelegenen StĂ€dte Todi, Orvieto, Perugia und Assisi, die alle fĂŒr uns mit dem Auto problemlos erreichbar und einen Besuch wert waren.Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefĂŒhlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

We have stayed in many homes through Vrbo, and I can honestly say that this was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. The location is perfect if you want to explore the Umbria region. But this house is so great we could stayed and cooked and enjoyed ourselves just as much. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we were able to prepare a nice big dinner for all of us. Gian, the host could not have been more accommodating. He met us in town for the initial drive to the villa, which is tricky, but once you get there you can pin it on Maps. The villa is high, and overlooks the Umbrian countryside. The view is fantastic. The house is very clean and slept seven of us more than comfortably. Gian brought us wood for the fireplace and made sure we were stocked up. He is very easy to reach and responds almost immediately. We honestly hated to leave and we vowed to come back for a month next time. If you’re driving a bigger vehicle, the drive to the villa can be intimidating the first time. But is is very doable. I had a seven passenger van, and we were fine. I cannot say enough about Gian, the host. He is warm and friendly, funny and helpful. He even show us how to find wild asparagus. This is the best home we have ever stayed at. We will definitely be back

Wir haben das Anwesen fĂŒr eine Woche gebucht und die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Villa ist liebevoll eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer fanden wir sehr gut: auch mit acht Personen hat man Raum fĂŒr sich gehabt. Der gemeinsam genutzter Bereich lĂ€dt mit Kaminfeuer zum entspannen und genießen ein. Einfach nur traumhaft! Die großzĂŒgige Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön. Die Aussicht auf die umliegende Region ist atemberaubend, die SonnenuntergĂ€nge waren malerisch. Wir möchten uns bei Gian fĂŒr seine Gastgeberfreundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit herzlich bedanken! Vor der Buchung hatten wir einige Fragen und haben sofort Antworten und UnterstĂŒtzung bekommen. Die Kommunikation ist einwandfrei gelaufen. WĂ€hrend des Aufenthalts war Gian immer fĂŒr uns da, wenn wir ihn gebraucht haben. Vielen Dank fĂŒr alles lieber Gian!

We were 7 adults all over 50 years old. There were ample bedrooms and baths. We used the villa primarily as a base to get out and see Umbria, e.g., Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto. The villa is much too nice just to be used as a base, it has great views on a large, beautiful property with many sitting and lying possibilities. Gian is the best host possible, always ready to assist, advise, recommend, AND available. A great place and a wonderful host.

This was a sibling w/spouses get together. We spent a week at the place. Very comfortable with rooms as promised;3 in the main floor with one upstairs and on separated from the house. Had all that you needed. Had porch off main living area for dining and couches for relaxing. Shoppping in town was 6 minutes away. Host was excellent very welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again. Host provided his contact info and responded quickly to our questions. Rated as 5 star would rate higher if possible both for host and property.

Everything about this villa is exceptional
great location, beautiful views, fantastic host, so much to see & do or just stay at the villa & enjoy the pool. Gian’s recommendations for restaurants, wineries & experiences were all amazing. Todi, Orvieto & Montefalco were highlights for our group. We even loved our almost daily visits to the nearby supermarket :) Gian went above & beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend his villa ; some of us even hope to return.

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation. It was very hot during our stay, but this was no problem because the house and the surroundings was so beautiful. The host was extremely helpful with information and suggestions on what to see and do, during our stay. We have never met such an engaged host. The view from the house and the pool was spectacular, with the real feel of the Italian country side. Even the last part of the road was dirt road, so don't bring your Ferrari :-). We were 9 people, two families and only adults. The house were perfect for that. Very spacious and good rooms for everybody. There are a lot of nice things and gorgeous towns in the area if you don't want to spend all the time in the pool. Thanks a lot Gian from all 9 of us for a fantastic stay.

Detta boende var perfekt för vÄr sÀllskap om 10 pers. Huset ligger avskilt med fantastisk utsikt. Sovrummen Àr rymliga och bra. Tre i huvudbyggnaden, ett i angrÀnsande lilla hus och ett femte ligger pÄ övervÄningen i en egen liten lÀgenhet med separat ingÄng via en sidotrappa. NÀr man bor tÀtt tillsammans Àr det viktigt att det Àven gÄr att fÄ avskildhet ibland och det erbjuder huset. Köket Àr stort med en rejÀl köksö. Man kan lÀtt kan vara flera som hjÀlps Ät i matlagningen. Köksutrustningen Àr inte den allra modernaste men allt man behöver finns. Matplatsen ute ligger direkt utanför köket vilket var perfekt. NÀra till kyl för att fylla pÄ med dryck etc. Poolen Àr stor med en grund och djup del. TvÄ stora parasoll gav bra skugga men det var ocksÄ skönt att kunna sitta i den lilla gazebon vid sidan av dÀr det uppstod ett korsdrag. Moskiterna pÄ kvÀllen var till visst besvÀr. Vi satte ut marschaller med citronellaljus och anvÀnde myggspray vilket hjÀlpte. Vi har inte haft problem med moskiter i Umbrien tidigare somrar sÄ det kanske var extra mycket just under vÄr vistelse. Det finns en hel del fina utflyktsmÄl. Till Todi tar det 15-20 min och till Perugia kommer man pÄ 30-40 min. Det ligger en bra Emi supermarket i nÀrmaste lilla stad. Ett stort extra plus ska ges till vÀrden Gian som var mycket uppmÀrksam och responsiv pÄ vÄra behov och alltid redo att svara pÄ frÄgor och hjÀlpa till. Det underlÀttade mycket och gjorde vÄr vistelse Àn mer avslappnad och trevlig.

Absolutely gorgeous property which had us feeling like we were in a fairytale. I’m surprised the birds and squirrels didn’t come in and help me make my bed each day. The views are stunning and the peaceful surroundings are so relaxing. We had chefs for breakfast and dinner - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Gian is helpful and knowledgeable and really puts effort into making sure the stay and the home are top notch. Thank you, Gian! We are just driving away and I miss it already.

Une localisation parfaite prĂšs de Todi et Ă  moins d'une heure de voiture de PĂ©rouse, Assise, Orvieto ou Spoleto, mais aussi de petits bourgs charmants comme Spello, Narni, San Gemini ou Bevagna. Une vue panoramique Ă  couper le souffle sur la campagne ombrienne, comme devant un tableau de la Renaissance, avec ses bourgs mĂ©diĂ©vaux, ses vignes et ses oliviers. Une maison confortable et spacieuse, avec des lits confortables, un Ă©quipement de cuisine complet pour qui aime cuisiner, une terrasse couverte trĂšs agrĂ©able et une piscine spacieuse, un parc immense, oĂč il fait bon voir le coucher de soleil sur les collines. Un accueil trĂšs chaleureux de Gian, le propriĂ©taire, qui est une belle personne et qui a Ă  coeur de faire plaisir, comme il a eu Ă  coeur de faire de sa maison soigneusement rĂ©novĂ©e un lieu Ă  l'ambiance unique. Bref, un lieu oĂč il fait bon ĂȘtre, en mĂȘme temps qu'un lieu de dĂ©part idĂ©al pour des visites culturelles, gastronomiques et oenologiques riches. A recommander chaleureusement pour un groupe d'amis.

How can we say enough about this wonderful property and amazing host? For my husband and myself, it was our second stay at Gian's house, and we wanted to share the experience with friends. It did not disappoint! The three couples each had a very private area of the house with one couple in the master suite, one upstairs with their kitchenette, and the other in the pool house. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed making breakfasts and dinners several nights (including some homemade pasta) while enjoying our evenings on the patio and around the pool. Gian is so welcoming to his guests, joining us for the Onion Festival in a nearby town and taking us to a favorite restaurant at the top of the mountain. He also helped us book a wine tour and private chef at the house. Don't miss out on this fantastic way to experience Umbria and all of the beauty and history of the area!

A really lovely villa that was well equipped in a beautiful location with unspoilt views. The air con was a lovely edition during the hot nights. Great area for exploring the rest of Umbria..Todi, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, all worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

Die sehr schöne Villa liegt auf einer Anhöhe in ruhiger Alleinlage. Wir waren mit 2 Familien (jeweils 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) in der Villa untergebracht. Die Villa war dafĂŒr perfekt aufgeteilt, so dass jeder seinen RĂŒckzugsbereich hatte. Der Garten ist groß und gepflegt und bietet einen herrlichen Rundumblick auf die Landschaft Umbriens und auf das schöne mittelalterliche StĂ€dtchen Todi. Der Pool ist traumhaft und perfekt zum Schwimmen geeignet. Ausflugsziele im Umkreis sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir haben z. B. von Orte aus einen Tagesausflug mit dem Zug nach Rom unternommen. Gian war ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit erreichbar war und uns mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt hat. Vielen Dank nochmal an Gian. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt dort.

Die Villa war fĂŒr unsere Gruppe von 8 Personen perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage war spektakulĂ€r - es gab einen Rundumblick auf die gesamte Umgebung mit Blick auf das mittelalterliche Todi. Der Pool war sehr schön gepflegt und großzĂŒgig geschnitten. Gian, der Gastgeber, war sehr aufmerksam, war immer ansprechbar und hat uns viele gute Tipps zu Restaurants und Touren in der Umgebung gegeben. Wir können die Villa jedem empfehlen, der ein großes Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage sucht - wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

La proprietĂ  rispetta le foto che sono pubblicate. tutto mantenuto con la dovuta cura e privo di segni di usura. Ritengo che il proprietario cambi di frequente eventuali accessori guasti/usurati. Splendida cucina attrezzata dove poter preparare qualsiasi pietanza. Barbecue molto grande per le grigliate. Piscina abbondante e pulita. Ottima location. Il proprietario Ăš presente all'occorrenza e pronto a venire incontro ad eventuali necessitĂ .

Nous avons passĂ© une fabuleuse semaine de vacances dans cette superbe villa typique de l'Ombrie. Cette villa, au sommet d'une colline (aucun vis-Ă -vis), offre une vue Ă  couper le souffle Ă  360 degrĂ©s sur toute la rĂ©gion de Todi. Elle est parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©e, vraiment spacieuse et permet un sĂ©jour trĂšs reposant pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis. En effet, elle est suffisamment vaste pour que chacun trouve son espace, tant Ă  l'extĂ©rieur qu'Ă  l'intĂ©rieur. Nous avons vraiment adorĂ© profiter du coucher de soleil prĂšs de la grande piscine tous les soirs : c'est un moment vraiment fabuleux ! La vue sur tous les petits villages ou villes environnantes (y compris Todi) fait vraiment partie des atouts de cette maison. Par ailleurs, la localisation est vraiment idĂ©ale pour visiter l'Ombrie et ses principaux sites d'attraction (Orvieto, PĂ©rouse, Assise, Montefalco, ....). A noter que la ville de Todi nous a beaucoup plu (trĂšs belle ville ancienne) et comporte toutes les commoditĂ©s nĂ©cessaires pour les vacances (supermarchĂ©, commerces, restaurants,...). Enfin, louer cette maison, c'est aussi faire la connaissance du propriĂ©taire Gian qui a Ă  cƓur de faire dĂ©couvrir sa rĂ©gion en toute simplicitĂ© et authenticitĂ©. Il est force de proposition pour organiser/proposer des activitĂ©s ou pour donner les lieux et adresses Ă  dĂ©couvrir si on cherche l'authenticitĂ©. La relation avec lui a Ă©tĂ©, bien sĂ»r, trĂšs fluide depuis la rĂ©servation jusqu'Ă  notre dĂ©part. Merci pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa convivialitĂ© ! En conclusion, je recommande vivement cette villa pour des vacances en Ombrie.

Die Villa liegt auf einem HĂŒgel mit Blick auf Todi und die ĂŒbrige Ebene. Allein der Blick am Abend auf den Sonnenuntergang wĂ€re eine Reise wert. Über die Aufteilung der Villa geben die anderen Bewertungen einen klaren Überblick - man kann gut mit bis zu drei Parteien hier leben. Herauszuheben ist Gian als Gastgeber. Er ist schlicht an den Leuten interessiert und teilt wertvolle Tipps ĂŒber Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc., ohne dabei auch nur ansatzweise aufdringlich zu sein. Besonders empfehlen kann ich den von ihm vermittelten Koch Daniele - ein wirklich tolles Ereignis. Insgesamt war dieser Urlaub eine tolle Erfahrung fĂŒr uns.

The villa is great! There is enough space for everyone, the rooms and beds are large and clean, each room has a bathroom! Fully functional kitchen with everything you need and a fantastic garden with large pool! The highlight is Gian the host who goes above and beyond to make your stay extremely comfortable and pleasant. He has some awesome recommendations for trips, restaurants, things to do etc and is constantly busy making bookings and making sure everything is taken care of. One thing I highly recommend is to get a chef to cook for you. The local food is fantastic and seeing (and learning if you like from) a professional chef is absolutely worth it. If you're looking to go to Umbria and this villa is available don't wait any longer and make the booking now, you will not regret it!

Vi bodde en julivecka i huset, totalt 7 personer varav 3 barn. Stor fin pool med solsÀngar, 1 parasoll och en pergola som gav vÀlbehövlig skugga. Vackert lantligt lÀge pÄ höjden med underbar utsikt och fin solnedgÄng. Stort traditionellt italienskt hus med rymligt kök och sovrum med tillhörande badrum. VÀrden Gian gav oss mÄnga bra restaurang- och utflyktstips och var tillgÀnglig för alla slags frÄgor. Det Àr ca 10 min med bil till en bra Supermarket.

This is a wonderful property- very spacious and beautiful. But perhaps the highlight was the special experiences suggested and arranged by Gian. He arranged a wonderful winetasting and tour, suggested great restaurants and was very available for every need. The chef he arranged (Daniele) was amazing, and I cannot even describe the experiential meal we had "on top of the Mountain" - Cheese, meats, Bruschetta, the Best homemade bread, 2 pastas, Lamb, Potatoes, vegetables, lots of wine, limoncello and grappa...all for 35 Euros a person! Trust Gian's every suggestion!

Gians Villa liegt auf einer Anhöhe gegenĂŒber der Stadt Todi. Zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf das Umland. Alle umbrischen Highlights wie Orvieto, Todi, Assisi, Perugia und Spoleto (um nur einige zu nennen) sind sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Rom erreicht man bequem mit dem Zug aus Orte. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und aufgrund seiner Aufteilung auch fĂŒr kleinere Gruppen geeignet. Insgesamt ergeben sich drei "Untereinheiten", in deren Zentrum die gut ausgestattete KĂŒche und das Wohnzimmer liegen. Die vierte Einheit ist eine eigene Wohnung im 2. OG, die Gian allerdings nicht separat vermietet. Jede Gruppe hat das Haus ganz fĂŒr sich alleine, darauf legt Gian wert. Überhaupt ist Gian ein ganz außergewöhnlicher Gastgeber. Er ist sehr bemĂŒht, dass seine GĂ€ste den Aufenthalt sehr genießen. So vermittelte er an einem Abend einen privaten Koch, der mit uns ein lokales MenĂŒ zubereitete. Ferner organisierte er eine kleine Wanderung mit anschließendem Imbiss sowie die Besichtigung einer ÖlmĂŒhle. Bei Fragen und Problemen war er immer ansprechbar. Insgesamt lĂ€sst Gians Villa keine WĂŒnsche offen und ist uneingeschrĂ€nkt zu empfehlen.
