”Great hotel. Fantastic location. Power and Light and downtown only a few minutes walk. Streetcar stop also only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was nice. Lobby bar was lively and had a nice atmosphere due to being the world cup. As did the rooftop bar which was a nice way to end the evenings. Overall an exceptional stay.”

”Room was clean and well kept, but the AC in our room kept shutting off or just didn’t work. Even if it was finally blowing out cold air, the air was so muggy in our room. Definitely a moisture issue. Downstairs is very well AC’d but not the rooms. Other than that, a nice clean, safe place to stay within great distance of Power and Light District!”

”I called the hotel, called EXPEDIA everyone to make sure breakfast was included in my rate as I added it. They said it was going to be included and nothing to worry about. Then going in to the breakfast area it is not great they tell you to go back and talk to the Front Desk as it is not included on your room. ”We went to Kansas City for WC game. When we arrived at the hotel, around 11:00am, it was very kind of them to let us check in right away, instead of waiting at 4pm. The staff is very nice and helpful, like a local tour guide, gave us ideas how to get to stadium by bus. The hotel is very clean. Its location is right at the downtown, walking distance to street car, bus and tourist places. The breakfast is good and have all you need for the a typical American breakfast. ”Our first room was blowing out heat (85°) so we were switched to a second room which was fine. It did take 20 min for us to have hot water …every shower. Dinner was good and bartender was friendly. Breakfast buffet was absolutely horrible.”
