”So the positives - the hotel itself was in a good location for what we needed, lovely friendly staff and the room was in excellent condition. The not so positive - the hotel uses the club facilities which was handy with restaurants etc close by and the pool if you wanted to but not quite the same as it being part of the hotel (and not a public pool etc). The real negative - we had interconnecting rooms on the first floor right above the reception area (with no wall for soundproofing in the...

”Upon arrival the staff at reception was warm and welcoming although when we checked into our room I was far from impressed. Our towels were dirty but had been folded in a way to try and disguise the dirtiness. The bed covers and sheets had stains on them which was appalling and the hot water didn’t work in our room. It says it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel but honestly wouldn’t go past a 1 star. Very disappointed. ”

”We loved our stay here. Everything was clean, well stocked and it was located in the heart of Gosford, with a 7 minute walk to the train station. Only suggestion would have been to have a second set of keys and fob to make coming in and out easier for our party. ”
