”The pub abd the associated guest rooms are excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the A10 routes to London or Cambridge. The local town of Ware is a gem for dining and shopping.”

”The Riffle Volunteer, is a lovely old English Pub, The Manager, and The Staff, are Fantastic!! And went above and beyond. The Rooms are Clean, but basic and could do with a
lick of paint to freshen their up. But apart from
that it's a charming little tradition pub. The outside garden is lovely, and there is parking, but it's a small car park.

This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.”

The staff were friendly , the rooms, although slightly dated , were spotless & the bed comfortable.
The location was really pretty being on the River Stort . We made use of the onsite cafe / bar. then took an evening stroll along the river bank .
It would have suited us to have breakfast
in the cafe but it was closed the following morning for a deep clean , which just shows
cleanliness of the place...
