”When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.”

”The room was spotless, Lisa was welcoming and helpful. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk in the fridge were provided. The full english breakfast was perfect too.”

One forgot to put our breakfast order through, although he did apologise to us. The other one just seemed to ignore us and I had to go and ask at reception for a menu. ”When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay.”

”The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and even though hot food is not allowed in the rooms, we were very pleased with the effort that Tim and Vicky went to to set up for us to have a takeaway dinner in the dining area. The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also.”

”Lovely flat with a cracking view But...... Internet was lousy which meant the nice smart TV was unusable. Tried getting hold of the management but emails didn't get answered and telephone call centre was a contect centre who couldn't really help and promised a call back which didn't happen. ”

”Good stay, however hair on the bed and the condition of the room was not great. Staff in the bar - 2 young girls chatting amongst themselves and not willing to help guests. Not great customer service- good for kids and good entertainment”

”Initial room very large and clean, sadly the window didnt closed and it was noisy. They kindly moved us to a lovely equally large room which was much quieter. Only complaint was the shower which was broken and was either freezing cold or boiling hot for a few seconds. Would be a hazard if showering children or elderly as it could easily scald. The breakfast was lovely. ”
