    Enjoy a timeless experience at an elevation of 550 meters, in the heart of the village of Piazzaga (Torno). Here, the connection isn’t Wi-Fi, but a bond with nature: let yourself be lulled by the sounds of the forest and rediscover the pleasure of silence.

    📍 Arrival, Check-in, and Parking

    Please note that the chalet is not accessible by private car, which ensures the absolute peace and quiet you’ll find upon arrival.

    • Meeting Point: We’ll meet in Piazza Caronti in Torno for check-in.
    • Parking: You can leave your car in the public parking lots in Torno.
    • Luggage Service: Forget the hassle! Luggage transport from Piazza Caronti to the cabin is included in the price, and we’ll handle it for you.
    🥾 Hikes and Connections: The Best of Both Worlds

    Piazzaga is the ideal base for those who love to hike, but also for those who want to explore the lake:

    • On Foot: Numerous hiking trails through the countryside start right from the house. The climb from Torno
    takes about 40 minutes (passing by the historic Porta di Travaina and the Romanesque bridge).
    • Toward the Lake: The descent to the village takes about 20–30 minutes… but of course, the time depends entirely on your fitness level! 😉
    • Exploring Lake Como: Once you reach Torno, the lake will be right at your feet. You can take a boat or a bus to easily reach the main attractions, historic villas, and beaches, and enjoy all the activities the lake has to offer.

    🏡 The Interior: Warmth and Tradition

    • Living Room: A cozy living room with a fireplace and wood-burning stove, a kitchenette, and a double sofa bed.
    • Sleeping Area: A charming loft with two single beds and a room on the lower level with a second double sofa bed.

    • Relax: Choose between the terrace or the garden for lunch, sunbathing, or stargazing at night.

Un gîte qui restera dans nos mémoires, Dépaysement assuré, authentique pour un retour aux sources, son accès est une réelle aventure, accompagné par Stefano un hôte remarquable. Calme magnifique vue. Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature, avec une bonne condition physique. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Merci

This house is a little paradise on Earth!The view is breathtaking and the house is full of charms with the exposed rocks and wood.It's also well equipped, lots of tourist guides/instructions and a hotel-style snack bar with very reasonable prices and bathroom with rolled up towels. The inside space is a mix of modern rustic nest: very cosy and fonctional.The outside is spacious and with a great spot to tan in the morning, on the long chairs, plus there is a covered space below in case it rains.The host was really welcoming: Stefano made sure to text us details of what to do, where to go, which was useful for us as we stayed for 3 nights only. He has a great adress, and overall impressive knowledge of the areas and its history.He also responds within a few hours, if not minutes once we were there.Its located in the mountains, and the area is private.The ride on the first and last day is included, to help with the suitcases.There is a walkable way to the house; it's not accessible to allbas there are steps that are uneven, but the host can drive you there for 10 (from Torno to the house), though the path through the forest during the day is very romantic with a waterfall and a bridge mid way. We were 2 girls in our late 20's and walked our way up at night twice.It's definitely a work out but it's worth is 100%; it's a perfect trail after a good meal.We are most grateful for the immediate natural trust and respect, and felt really safe there. One of my best trip!
