I do not recommend this hotel at all. While the staff were very nice, the hotel was filthy. We were told the rooms were renovated. Hard to believe. The air quality was very poor. We have stayed at many Toronto airport hotels and never heard the planes taking off and landing. At this hotel, you could clearly hear the planes, nonstop all night long. This was partly due to the fact that the patio doors need to be replaced. They don’t close properly necessitating the need for a makeshift bar keeping the door closed and secured. The lock portion is snapped off and the gap around the door is at least 1/4 inch. All the chairs in our room and the lobby were filthy. Many times we enjoy eating a dinner in our room. Tho this room did have a microwave and fridge we had no appetite to eat food in this room. This hotel needs a lot of TLC, upgrading, and loads of cleaning. By circumstance, we arrived at the hotel too early to check in so we asked if we could store our luggage in the meantime. They didn’t have a secure room and instead we had to leave our baggage in a snack room which was accessible to everyone. Tho they told us “it’s been OK up to this point”, it was unnerving. The towels were small and worn and didn’t match, which I thought was kind of odd. They did provide a half decent breakfast and the staff did keep the area clean but again, the chairs in the dining room were filthy. There were no recycling bins in our room or the lobby, unheard of in this day and age. Zero stars!
