Never again.
CC on file when reservation made. Checking in I was told they needed my card. I told them it’s on file. They said that’s just for no show. They needed the card again: the no show function doesn’t interact with the check-in function. What? It’s the 21st century for Pete’s sake. When I said I wasn’t impressed & wanted to speak with someone higher than the hotel manager that was all I was offered along with assurance I would be contacted.. When I told them that wasn’t acceptable, my second request was met with stony silence.
Room? Fridge was loud enough as it cycled on that it woke us. Every time.
Bathroom? In a word: gross. One light not working. Looked up into the fixture: bulb missing, not just burned out; some kind of ick splattered inside the fixture. Bathroom barn didn’t close properly. Sink faucet needed two hands to turn it on. If not shut off with the same of force it dripped. I have two good hands. My husband doesn’t and had to ask me for help. Room curtains didn’t close properly. Getting up in wee hours, heading back to bed, through the gap in the curtains we were blinded by a bright security light in a parking lot on the other side of the street!!
Checking out I asked about the parking charge. I got a snotty answer that the information was on the website. I didn’t use the website. I said it should have been communicated directly at check in. Basically, it was so sad, too bad.
If they were the last hotel on the planet, I’d rather sleep in my car.
