”What a pleasure it was to stay there last night. We stayed in room 3, which is the "Crying Lady" room. I didn't hear her unfortunately but my wife was snoring. Can I please just give a mention to Ben, who didn't stop all day. A true gentleman. An extra mention to the "Undercover Boss"... You know who you are. We will be back soon. A special place and the food was to die for. Thanks again.x”

”As a family of four with 2 teens and a big dog, it's difficult to find somewhere not over priced and a big enough space for us all. We stayed in a very spacious family room. Bathroom had a big drench shower and heated towel rail. Plenty of space for our dog's big bed! Ben and the other staff were very friendly and attentive, also accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included and fantastic choice. We ate at the pub on the second night and the food really was fantastic and a good varied menu....

”Idyllic spot in Hope Cove. Room needs a bit of TLC - walls were dirty and in need of repainting in places, window latches were broken,some cushions on the beds were stained, breakfast was cold on our second morning - but overall we loved our stay. The staff were all helpful and friendly, Parking was easy enough at a cost of £10 for 24 hours. It’s a pub so expect noise in the evenings until late.
