Capitol Reef Dome | Primrose

Welcome to our stunning geodesic dome located just minutes away from Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley. Our fully-furnished dome is the perfect getaway for adventurous travelers looking to experience the beauty of southern Utah. The unique dome shape provides stunning views of the surrounding landscape and allows for ample natural light. Step outside and explore the nearby national park, hike through the red rock canyons. Built and run by our new small family! Book now and make memories that will last a lifetime.

The skylight is covered to keep the dome cool from the sun :)

Great stay at Capitol Reef Dome. The location is hard to beat. It is about a 10 minute drive to Factory Butte and very close to Moons Overlook, which made exploring easy and stress free.The dome was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with beautiful desert views and an amazing night sky. It felt remote but still convenient.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Willow dome is AMAZING. We loved everything about it. The only issue was the outdoor shower water was heated at 127 degrees and scalding. Its not a usual set up amd not easy to figure out. The owners allowed us to use another shower so it all worked out. Only other issue was no washcloths. Definitely worth a stay and we would do it again!

What a cool place! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and to explore Capital Reef. The dome was such a neat experience. It was more spacious than we expected, very clean, and comfortably decorated. The outside eating area was also really cool, and the private bathroom, while separate from the dome, was very clean. Remember to bring drinking water. The well water, while safe, does have a strange taste. In addition to Capital Reef, we also visited by some of the smaller points of interests like NASA's Mars Research Station, and Carl's Critter Garden in Hanksville. It's also close to Goblin Valley, but we didn't have time to for that this trip. We're thinking of coming back with our two kids to see Capital Reef again and Goblin Valley.

Was a really nice mom getaway, just wish there was more information and details on how to do things locally. I had no service the whole time and there was no Wi-Fi so it was very hard for me to figure out things to do and find things nearby to do and was hard to contact the owners to get information because I did not have service. Other than that, it was lovely and a good experience. Things nearby definitely could have been updated like directions for nearby pass, or hikes, and upkeep with the property like dead trees that need to be cut down to see the view. And also.

Good location between Goblin Valley and Capitol Reef. Right off the highway which was convenient. Almost no traffic at night so it was relatively quiet. Perfect mix of camping and hotel room.

It was very comfortable, the bed was great! We had a great time watching the turkeys and deer from the dome. It is very central to both the Swell and the Reef. It is right off the highway, but the traffic noise was very minimal. There is a Keurig provided, but no pods so bring your own!

Me, my fiance and our two dogs stayed at the dome for one night. Roomier than they look, and cute decor! Very cool concept with the domes! They are right off the highway and all of the domes are very close together, so not super secluded if that’s what you want. The pictures make the domes look a little bit more secluded than they actually are.
