”We had a great time during our visit. Apart from walking the village there isn’t much to do. We still made the most of our time and made friends with many locals. We did feel a little uncomfortable at the end of our trip as the president was complaining that we had paid in advance and he expected us to pay for the hotel the day before we left. After we sorted everything he said with others and complained that we hadn’t spent enough during our trip. ”

”The amenities and rooms are very primitive, you have to go in knowing that. My girlfriend and I went in thinking that we weren’t going to have any electricity and that fresh water was scarce, neither of which were true. The shared showers/bathrooms were dirty, but only because they are being used constantly by the day-trippers to the island (the bathrooms were cleaned nightly though). It’s a place to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful beach and truly relax. The native Guna people are wonderful...
