Lomamajat – Tortuguero

”Das Hotel an sich war in Ordnung. Die Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter ließ allerdings deutlichst zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten an unserem Checkouttag mit Überschwemmungen im Hotel zu kämpfen wodurch wir vor dem Zimmer einen kleinen Fluss hatten. Wir baten die Mitarbeiter zumindest beim Transport der Koffer um Hilfe damit diese nicht komplett durchnässt in die letzte Urlaubswoche gehen. Hilfe wurde vom Personal diesbezüglich aber abgelehnt, Auch ein größerer Regenschirm oder Wagen wurde uns für...

”Having read a lot of reviews, we expected Pachira Lodge to be a bit tired and for the food to be limited, but we were still disappointed, considering what we had paid for our stay. The setting in the jungle is great and we saw sloths and monkeys from the pleasant pool area. We were unfortunately not made to feel very welcome on arrival - no-one met us off the boat and we struggled to find reception to check in. While clean, the rooms were small and dark with nowhere nice to sit outside....

”Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr schön und die Lage direkt am Fluss. Natürlich toll. Leider ist von der Architektur her das Hotel ein wenig umständlich geplant dich bei räumen sehen eigentlich aus wie eine Kantine und sind innen ohne Blick auf den Fluss, während Aussichtspunkte und das Pool am Fluss legen und damit eigentlich eine schöne Sicht haben. ”Staff were excellent especially Kaylor and the team, very warm and helpful with organising our tours. Food options also very good and place is quiet and in the middle of nature. Accomodation is ok, little bit rustic but then it is an eco lodge and you paying for seclusion and to be close to wildlife. Would recommend overall”

”Rana Roja was absolutely amazing! The owner Herardo was super nice, hospital and helpful. This place was more than advertised. They had a small and cute pool with a small waterslide which was nice addition during the warm evening. The property had many interesting walking paths which kind of felt like being on a nature tour or a hike, very cool! The owner was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and gave us good tips for tours around the area. We ended up going to a turtle watching tour...
