”Very special hotel in the middle of the jungle. Clean, beautiful and amazing staff working there. We had the best time ever”

”The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. ”

”We were in room 29, it was spacious and even with screen windows it wasn’t too noisy from people nearby. The hammock on the porch was nice, and we got to see toucans in the tree by our front door. We also saw a huge iguana on the lawn, and a sweet orange cat. The bathroom was also large and clean. The shower did not have a handheld but it was a rain shower and had hot water pretty quickly. The strange wooden rack in the bathroom proved very useful to lay out clothes to try and get them to dry....

”9/10!! Great staff. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the deck. Conveniently located downtown Tortuguero. The tour guide, Luis, we had was great. I highly recommend Casa Marbella, and their tours!”

”Great place to stay right on the water!”

”Clean room and helpful staff. The view on the river was amazing and we could easily access tours and places to eat. It is a shame that you can't have breakfast on site.”

”Great room for the price. Friendly staff. ”

”Great host in Costa Rica!!”

”Rana Roja was absolutely amazing! The owner Herardo was super nice, hospital and helpful. This place was more than advertised. They had a small and cute pool with a small waterslide which was nice addition during the warm evening. The property had many interesting walking paths which kind of felt like being on a nature tour or a hike, very cool! The owner was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and gave us good tips for tours around the area. We ended up going to a turtle watching tour...

”Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty. Nice hammocks to relax in. The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us”

”I recommend that if you want to stay at Miss Marian‘s cabins, I would only stay for about a week. People that own it are very nice and they definitely want to help. So I do recommend it.”

”Lovely and helpful staff. Great food. By far the most convenient location. Less than a min across the river from the airstrip. I will definitely go back.”

”Beautiful and rustic surroundings. Staff was excellent.”

”El personal muy amable, el precio un poco alto ”
