”If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant.”

”The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order.”

”The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

”Very polite staff, good breakfast included in price, clean, good location and free parking. Only negative thing was bed matress that was leaning to middle heavily and resulted in very sure back after one week stay.”

”We only stayed one night but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Mattress was a bit springy but comfortable and slept well. Would definitely stay again.”

”Very nice service and good and fast connection to city centre. Rooms were a bit tired but I got used to it quickly. Would recommend to people who wan't to save and don't need anything special in their room. Much more tv channels than in most hotels.”

”Beautiful property and decor however the main let down was the service of the staff in all areas of the hotel. We experienced poor service at breakfast, the bar, and reception. Staff seemed so disinterested it really made the overall stay unpleasant.”

”Wonderful customer service. I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers.”

”The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. I arrived about 4.10 p.m., but there was no one on Reception, and at first I...

”Room a little tired, bathroom had a number of things needing repair, eg. Toilet roll holder, drainage for bath. Room was also a little hot and AC not very effective… outside temp was 23 degrees or so… so when heatwave hits it will be overly warm in room to get a good night’s sleep. Staff very friendly, and hotel atmosphere was good. Didn’t try food - dinner or breakfast, nor tried gym, so cannot comment on those. Only two working ionity chargers due to people having stolen cables… not fault of...

”Perfectly comfortable stay. Fast check-in and out. Spacious, modern clean rooms. Friendly breakfast staff but food very basic, would skip adding breakfast to your stay. Would recommend and stay again.”

”The hotel was so clean from the drive, reception & bar area right through to the room. Staff were so friendly & helpful & represented the hotel very well. The room was spotless, roomy, bright, enormous super comfortable bed & had great mirrors in room & bathroom something we often get in more expensive hotels. It's in a very convenient location for M18 & link to M1 so not far at all from Doncaster lakeside outlet. Plenty of parking, Lovely Greene King pub, petrol station & fairly large...
