”The cabin is nice and cozy. They have a welcoming gift of baked cookies and souvenir mugs. So thoughtful! This place is so easy to drive and very near to New Gorge national park. And I recommended traveling here during fall because it is more fantastic around seeing beautiful shades of leaves while relaxing in the cabins hot tub! But if you want nature, do come here anytime of the year! ”

”Nice Historical property should replace the mattress in our room with a pillow top type unit. Included continental breakfast offering was very limited a few mini muffins and some mandarins with coffee and tea......could do better there. ”

”It was a nice 1 night stay. Comfortable bed, clean, breakfast was ok your regular stuff, fruit, cornflakes, fresh waffles, toast and English muffins, regular muffins. The place looked like it was recently renovated with all new furniture and flooring, even the towels looked new. ”

”Room was clean. Front desk person at night want really friendly. She wasn't rude just didn't smile. The night shift and day shift girl wee lovely. Breakfast wasn't bad. Muffins wee super fresh. Area felt very safe and a lot of places near by to eat at our shop. ”

”This is a wonderful little motel in a beautiful town. We have stayed there twice and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The owner is just a great person who responded to my by email asking if I needed anything. Great place to stay”

”The dirtiest motel I have seen ever. There was holes in the walls. The carpet was 20 year-old filthy nasty rag. The bed smelt bad. The air conditioner was broken and halfway out of the wall. The shower was filthy. Missing tile toilet hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, place was extremely dirty.”

”The old adage that you get what you pay for is true. The room was mostly fine, bed was comfortable. But they really need to replace the carpets. It smelled really musty, and the room in general smelled old and stale. Also, bathtub fixtures need replacing - the bathtub faucet handle cover came off in my hand, and the caulk repair looked like it was glopped on by a blind monkey. They put a lot of lipstick on the pig, but it's obvious that the hotel is old and inadequately renovated. ”
