”The room had two relatively minor issues: 1. The toilet flush was terrible. Difficult to flush. Impossible with long flush, hit and miss with short flush. 2. The toilet roll holder was in need of securing. Toilet rolls inevitably fell to the floor when used. As I said these issues were relatively minor but were an ongoing irritant.”

”Thank you to Heather, she was kind and helpful and responded to requests quickly We were not disturbed by the night club since it was out of season and a Monday night. Room was good value for money. It could probably benefit from a lick of paint and the mattress was a little uncomfortable, but okay for 1 night.”

”Clarach bay holiday park was a really nice location. Ok for dogs. The position of the chalet was reasonable walk to the beach and club house. The chalet was reasonably clean but needs some serious TLC. Electrics too many extention leads and the RCD kept tripping.”

Fish and chips - fish soggy not crispy, pooling with oil and the crushed Parmesan potatoes like something you would concrete bricks together with and the local trout was so overcooked it was hard to chew it. ”A wonderful stay in the middle of the countryside! Colleen and Griz were perfect, friendly, down to earth hosts and their recommendation for a local pub for food was lovely! It was also great to meet their dogs who were so keen to have a bit of fuss! Breakfast was stunning and freshly cooked. The room had a really comfortable bed and everything was clean and welcoming. We'd highly recommend Ty Mawr to anyone wanting a stay in the lovely West Wales countryside.”
