”The tv in the room didn’t work I called reception they said someone was on the way up to the room - they never came Peacock out side the room all night and morning squawking and people running up and down the corridors all night ”

”Entire property well maintained clean Breakfast buffet style seemed a little over priced Reception staff and room attendants were fabulous Spa underwhelming more akin to a gym facility which is the main use perhaps but none the less clean not crowded and convenient and good value as included in room price ”

”The hotel has an impressive exterior and interesting period decor. We upgraded to a superior double room, but it was disappointing: the heating didn’t work, and the TV signal was unreliable. Parking was challenging, and one staff member at breakfast was rude. Upon returning from a day trip, we found our door left open, putting our belongings at risk, and our room had not been serviced or restocked despite reporting it. A lovely building, but service and maintenance need improvement.”

”The property is a little dated, the curtain and carpet was rugged over in the main house. The mattress was hard and didn't feel like a 4 star property. The steak was also not great for the price. The stay is a premium rate and good for a one off, but wouldn't rush back unless there is some renovation. ”
