”The property is very unique, special. Located directly on the Douro river with incredible views. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean. The food cooked for us was always in abundance and delicious. They, Elena and Claudia, looked after our needs (dining, drinks, laundry, etc) very well and kindly. Pedro as our concierge was incredibly valuable. He helped us with every aspect of our stay - securing boat moorings, confirming reservations, acting as a translator, helping above and...

”Wat een prachtig authentiek huis! En dat uitzicht over de vallei. We hebben enorm genoten van alles daar! Vlakbij ook een prachtig Aventura Parc. Dit vonden mijn zoons geweldig, klimbos, canoying, zipline (echt geweldig!Maria, de eigenaresse, is zo aardig en behulpzaam. Reageert ook heel snel. We voelden ons enorm welkom. ”

”Spacious apartment with everything we needed for our brief stay. The entrance is a short walk up a cobblestone path, and the parking is tricky to find with Google Maps. The hose met us at the parking lot and walked us to the door. He offered a brief tour of the property which was helpful. There is a mini-split in each room and the downstairs kitchen/living room so the unit was very comfortable. When we visit the area again, we will look to stay here.”
