”The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, and the beach view was great. It's a nice location, but be prepared for several miles of narrow lanes to get there.”

”The twin room with shared bathroom was on a very noisy main road with traffic lights outside, and the window did not shut fully. We didn't realise on booking that the room was not ensuite. The beds were very springy. This was fine for one night only and only five minutes from the heliport.”

”Accomodation was perfect. A hidden gem. Sunday Roast is amazing. Breakfast freshly cooked to order. Will definitely use the Coach & Horses at Rosugeon again. ”

”The room was large and well appointed. The amenities looked new and fresh. The restaurant provided a good variety at a reasonable cost. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and close.”

”Hotel room have beautiful sea view and breakfast is simple but delicious. Walking around 10 minutes to high street. Hotel location is good for regional scenic places. Around 1.5 hours driving distance. Staffing is helpful.”

”Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. ”

”This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.”

”Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”

”The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!”

”We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on....

”The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed in the disabled access room which was very good. The only thing we would say is the the toilet is very low for a disabled person, even with the grab bars. ”

”The Old Post House was exactly as we had envisaged. Full of character, perfectly positioned over the harbour and very comfortable. Shelley helpfully gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. Parking would have been a challenge had we not been the only ones staying, but there was room in the village. In high season it could be an issue, given the small size of the place. A great place to stay and highly recommended.”
