”Excellent ‘rainforest’ experience. Lodges right on the edge of the rainforest, surrounded by lush plant. Lodges neat, tidy and clean. Cooper’s Creek swimming holes amazing, absolutely natural creek running through thick rainforest on the property with quick, easy access; swimming morning and night in the creek was the highlight of the stay. ”Very nice hotel close to Cairns cener and airport. Nice and clean rooms with view. Big pool but not enough sun beds. All of them were reserved with towels already by 8 am! No shower at the pool. ”

”First off, the location is perfect and the marina view is definitely the way to go. The room we had was very calming, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved waking up and having our coffee on the balcony watching the ships go out for the day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. I 100% recommend the Shangri-La and the marina room—it’s worth the cost. We would go back in a heartbeat!!”

”Exceeded our expectations by far. The club level room was so worth the extra cash…the view of the water and marina was spectacular. The room is a little dated as is the rest of the property but it is immaculately clean and the staff incredibly welcoming. The breakfast buffet was vast with something for everyone (the scrambled eggs weren’t good though). Wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay. ”
