”The room was hotter than the sun, the fan provided did nothing and even the floor felt hot. The towels and sink had hairs on them. The room had one plug socket and it was nowhere near the bed. The temperature of the shower couldn’t be controlled, it was extremely hot in the room so I turned on only the cold tap and when I switched it to shower it would still come out hot and change temperature frequently and I couldn’t control it.”

”No restaurant available as per the description and photos - I had planned to eat dinner after Check In but couldn't. Breakfast was in the reception area and not very comfortable. On check in, I was asked what time I wanted my 'full English' - not ideal being held to a time. Full English didn't have standard bacon - it was non pork Turkish bacon which I should have been told about. I only ate half the breakfast, and I was only offered the cooked breakfast (with some fruit and toast). Bed...

The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient.
