”Excellent place to stay. Friendly welcome on arrival with orientation re access, breakfast, fridges etc. Accommodation was well thought out and looks like someone really cares about creating a comfortable place to stay. Breakfast service was matched by the quality. No dried-out buffet breakfast here, its all made to order. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.”

”Me, my partner and our 2 dogs spent an amazing weekend there ❤️ The place is magical. We went for long walks around the fields, ate amazing food in the restaurant at the property, swam in a swimming pool, and enjoyed the area around. Definitely recommend to visit! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful ❤️ thank you very much!”

”Fieldways hotel has been our choice over the past 10 years but on this occasion we were very disappointed with the lack of staff available at any time, seemed a like a “Look after yourself” scenario’ Our main concern was that we paid £24 more than ever before and there was no cooked breakfast!! The toilets were very dated and needed a complete overhaul/clean. My comment to my wife was that I did not think the hotel would stay open for long and that it seemed as though it was going to be closed...

”A wonderful stay, the Inn is gorgeous! Our room was very clean with wonderful toiletries and amenities. The place was very quiet, which could have been due to the pub being closed that day/eve - worth checking opening days and sorting alternative food out. However, as the pub was closed the owners let us sit out in the beer garden which is beautiful and got us a glass of wine! The breakfast was sensational also, highly recommend a stay here!!”

”Stayed for 3 nights. Parking at the rear always available, From 'check in' onwards the staff were pleasant, helpful and professional, including carrying our bags to the first floor room. The double room was quite spacious, with it's own short 'hall' to the bath/shower room and door to the main hotel landing, so you enter into a short hall and not straight into the bedroom, nice touch. The room was clean, nicely set out, comfortable and well equipped. The only downside to the room was creaky...

”Great stay just after Christmas. Check-in times are limited, but it was very easy to get in following the instructions. Room and the whole hotel was really nicely furnished and decorated with good taste. Everything was clean. Breakfast was also really good with different varieties to order. Peaceful location with about 10 min walk to the city center. Can highly recommend this hotel.”

”We visited this hotel as a party of eight for a Golden Wedding anniversary celebration. The reception staff there went well above and beyond what could reasonably be expected. They accommodated all our requests happily and efficiently and contributed significantly to our very pleasurable stay. The little 'perks' the hotel offers it's guests also contribute to the very positive view we have of the establishment.”
