”Out of the way location, so it was quite quiet. The pool was closed for some unknown reason. I stayed on the first floor and I could hear people walking on the floors above me, so if you consider yourself a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you unless you’re on an upper floor.”

”No air conditioning in room. Funky historic place with a lot of charm. It’s part of the same non-profit as the theater next door so a pretty unconventional hospitality experience.”

”This property is dated but was very comfortable for our 4 day stay. Everything in our room was in good working order. The breakfast was good too. The on site restaurant closed too early which was disappointing . The staff was helpful and kind good people work there!!”

”Check in was a little different. I was asked for my drivers license and the associate made a copy and put it aside a later put the copy in a binder. Why was this done? I always have given my license when asked at hotel but have never seen it kept like that. My room was 316. Went up to the 3rd floor and could not find my room. It was in the opening where the ice and soda machine was located. You walk by and it looks like a maintenance closet. Room was clean however, while using the...

”Clean . New. Didn't like the fact my door was knocked on at 1100am saying I had to check out when my reservation said noon. The gentleman was rude. And rushed me out of there going so far as to follow me to the office and basically telling me to leave. Very unprofessional. That needs to get cleaned up. Nice place otherwise”

”Other than the night paving project taking place outside the hotel, the stay was okay. The hotel is not responsible for the timing of the project, but it might be mindful to assign rooms furthest from the main drag.”

”I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

”The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

”While the owners are lovely people and their restaurant wonderful, our accommodations were not really clean. The ceiling plaster was falling. Some of the areas were not dusted for a while, our bathroom mirror still had splash marks from the previous guest, and the carpets were not vacuumed. This place really has great potential with upgrades and cleaning. These are constructive criticisms to help.”
