”The location was great the lake was across the street the hotel was ok but I felt it was geared towards skiing and not enough variety for restaurants mainly hamburgers and pizza. The restaurant Rosie’s is so awesome food was delicious and a big variety to choose from

”Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at on a vacation.
Bed wasn’t comfortable, water pressure in shower was nonexistent, room was hot with no ac, when windows were open the road noise was too loud. Tyrannical owners more worried about patrons smoking in the parking lot rather than cleaning the rooms on a regular basis. Didn’t have room cleaned the entire week. I won’t be back.”

”The room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the Happy Hour on Friday evenings during one of our recent stays. We played bocce ball, too! Breakfast was delicious in the restaurant, and the staff was friendly and very helpful there and at check-in.”

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”Had our dog and choices are slim in North Lake area. I didn't expect much but was disappointed we couldn't connect to internet, no coffee maker, and it was a bit dirty. The room was spacious and beds good-sheets smelled nice and clean. Location great- across the street from dog park on the Lake!”

”Great location, cute cabins, friendly , helpful, welcoming front desk staff, our cabin was cute and cozy and bed was comfortable, we could walk across the street to a little beach, the pool and hot tub were not available during our stay but we enjoyed the fire ring and smores with other friendly guests from around the country. Front desk recommended a good restarant and also great hiking trails.”
