”We were here in Feb 2017, so a lot of places were closed. We walked the seaside and ate one dinner at the Il Sistema (walk across the road and toward Pescara (it was very good. Other times we drove to town. Also there is a big shopping center - Iper where you can find anything. Town and Iper are both about a 5 min drive. Also nice the Calachiara has off street parking. ”Excellent option if you need to stop going from the north of Italy to the south. The hotel is run by an Argentinean family and their “asado” is great. They really make you feel at home. Access to the beach is excellent and the water is so clear.”

”Wonderful small hotel in a quiet but central location. The spacious room was impeccably clean. A comfortable bed, high quality bed linen and towels. Breakfast was served in your room which felt like a treat. Attentive and friendly personal service, their restaurant recommendations were spot on and I even got a handwritten map for my return journey to visit sights in the nearby villages. I had a lovely stay.”
