”Easy check-in, excellent staff, good bar area (again, excellent staff). Very good food, super local brews. Comfortable bed, great breakfast. Oh, and nice beer garden to boot. Would come here again and, if I lived locally, it would definitely be a regular haunt. Staff are superb.”

”This was a surprise packet! One of the least expensive BnB options we have been experiencing but almost everything was done so well. Fresh, clean, comfortable, great staff, good breakfast. Close enough to Wrexham town centre for good accessibility by car but it just seems as if it is more in the country than the city.”

”As basic as they get. Just enough to meet your needs for 1 or 2 nights. The price felt fair for what you got…a bed, shower and tv. Having said that, the mattress needs replacing and the shower had no soap in it.”

”A fantastic last minute find! Hawkstone Hall and Gardens is beautiful, with stunning grounds and lovely nearby walks. The service was flawless and the food delicious. We’ll definitely be back.”

”Property location is good and staff worked hard to please guests. Condition and cleanliness of the property isn't great, and proximity to the road was an issue in my room - every time a HGV hit a pothole outside the floor of the room shook.”

”Clean room, did what it needed to do a bed with an ensuite. Felt very dated. Complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the gym had basic equipment but good enough to get a good gym session in. Extremely gorgeous location and perfect for going into Chester. Reasonable car park price. Only negative was I didn’t appreciate being asked for my card details - account expiry and cvc outline publicly and was not told how it would be stored or removed. I feel that there was a slight breech to gdpr and...

”Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.”
