”The owner was flexible with the check-in. We communicated in advance to ensure the logistics worked. On move in day, everything was smooth. The kitchen was fine. What was helpful is we had two kids with severe food allergies. We prepped their food in the backup kitchen to prevent cross contamination.”

”Hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my senior mother with a private bed on main level. They were also accommodating on other requests that I had. It was such a fun, nostalgic place. It was all exactly how I remembered the Old Mill to be and the private beach made for some additional family time. I see a wonderful future for this getaway place!! ”

”Beautiful place, excellent hosts, fantastic neighborhood. Our only criticism was not being able to make a fire in the fireplace. One of the many reasons we chose this house was the fireplace feature. We also wanted a front porch, updated kitchen, and a spa tub. This place had all of that!”

”This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very "homey" feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. ”Overall the house was great. One thing is that the lake isn’t great for swimming. The bottom is rocky and one person cut their foot pretty badly. Not the fault of the host, just something to be aware of. For the house I’d recommend more dish towels for the kitchen. There was only one towel for the kitchen. Some of the soap dispensers were filled with a gross smelling body wash, and one of the dispensers weren’t refilled before our stay. There was a swim diaper left in the fire pit. Again,...
