”This is an exceptional place to stay. The family is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts are delicious and excellent quality. The room is well appointed and quiet. We were really well looked after during our visit and we hope to return before too long.”

Lovely couple met us with a warm welcome, some fresh cold milk and some drinks for the fridge, the hut was spotless and remarkably spacious and whilst I can't imagine anyone cooking in these huts there is a small hob and everything you'd need to cook if you're too mean to eat out. ”The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent
However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows.
Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.

”This hotel was amazingly clean and had everything you could need in a hotel, the staff without exception were friendly the included breakfast also excellent fresh food topped up regularly and I really could not fault this hotel or the staff. ”
”Absolutely fabulous stay at Jamaica Inn. Always wanted to stay there and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful rooms, tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Had a dog (£15 extra) but the dog had a bed, a towel, dog bowls and a doggy welcome pack with dog toy, dog treats and bags. Really friendly staff. A great meal in the dog friendly bar area washed down with some local beer. ”

The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks.
Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order.
They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok.
The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open.”
