Absolutely Amazing Property

The property was everything we could have hoped for! Three of the bedrooms had their own bathroom which was perfect for extended family. The pool was great and the ping pong table and pool table provided so much fun! We lived the open layout and the quieter north beach! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect all around

Perfect girls' weekend getaway

My girlfriends and I loved this VRBO! The pool was clean and heated. The house was immaculate and we had plenty of towels for our stay! The elevator wasn't working while we stayed there, but that was partially my fault because I didn't reach out to have it fixed during our time there. The property manager needed to come change the batteries in the lock and was very communicative about that. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, clean house & pool!!

The Pelican house was very clean & comfortable. The only negative was the large grill on the porch was pad locked & would have been nice to use, since it was pictured in the house pictures, however there was a grill for us to use down by the pool. The pool was awesome for little ones who enjoyed it very much. Would be nice if the 4th bedroom had an access to a bathroom without entering another bedroom.

Great place to stay!

My family (6 adults, 3 children 3 and under) stayed in Pelican House. It is the perfect set up for family groups. The bedrooms have closets that can double as infant sleeping quarters when the child needs to rest in a pack n play. The pool was a game-changer, as we spent mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool. If you are sensitive to bright lights when sleeping, this may not be the home for you. The outside of the home is lit up; pretty to look at, but a pain when it comes time to sleep. Perhaps some different blinds, even black-out curtains may be more suitable if the home is going to be that bright at night. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Perfect

The house is exactly as presented in photos and even more gorgeous in person. We had 10 guests. Everyone had plenty of space to relax. The pool is great for the kids and the adults. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We would go to the riverside beach (5min walk) in the am and head down to Second Street to the ocean side; this is only a few minute drive and less crowded than North beach. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect house for large family vacation

This house fit our needs (and more!) perfectly for a family of ten. We enjoyed all the amenities it has to offer, especially the beautiful pool area. The multiple living spaces, bar area, pool table, and elevator all came in handy. The location was also fantastic as we appreciated the quieter north end of the island and fun shops and restaurants in walking distance. Could not say enough good things about this property.

Nothing short of amazing!

We had our annual mother, daughter, granddaughter girls trip and chose to visit Tybee Island this year. The home is exactly as described but the pictures do not do it justice in terms of the beauty of the home. The beds were very comfortable. We had the best time! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great property!

This property was perfect for our family of 7. There was plenty of space for eating, sleeping and playing. We utilized the swimming pool, ping pong table, pool table and grill. The short walk to the beach was easy, and the beach wasn’t crowded. There was lots of parking space, and the house was clean and so well arranged. We had everything we needed to cook and grill. A really great property!!!

Family Vacation during COVID

When our long planned vacation with all three of our adult kids and their spouses was cancelled due to COVID, we looked for other ideas. So glad we picked Tybee! This house was as depicted in the photos and perfect for our type of group (all adults). The one hitch was that one of the rooms does not have a bath and there is no hall bath on the 2nd floor where all the rooms are... this was a challenge for the couple staying in that room because the downstairs 1/2 bath is a good walk during the night... they also had to shower in someone else's bathroom. That said, the pool is fabulous and the location is very quiet.. even on the 4th of July! The beach is a 5 minute walk and never crowded in the slightest... social distancing was not an issue! Also on the beach we could just sit and watch an endless stream of dolphins trailing the shrimp boats! Great low key vacation!

Lovely Vacation House

Perfect house for a family stay or even a large group. We had just our family, but there was plenty of sleeping accommodations if you were sharing with another family or a group of friends. House was clean, neat and well-stocked with all the essentials. Had a couple of problems during our vacation, but nothing major enough that we felt the need to report them until check-out. The company took note of them so I'm sure they will be addressed. Easy walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood and nice location. We were really pleased with our stay and would rent this home again.

Wish it was a longer stay!

My family and I were blown away by this property! It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could need. Would definitely book again! We came in for a weekend wedding so my only complaint is that it wasn't a longer stay :)

Great house!

We had an amazing family vacation in this home. Close to great beaches on Tybee (personally I think North Beach is the place to be on the island). Having the elevator was fantastic for the two older folks we had along on the trip and for bringing strollers upstairs with sleeping babies). Perfect layout with lots of living space for family get togethers. Pool table and ping pong were so much fun & kept everyone entertained. Kitchen was really well equipped. Garage was a great feature as well. Everything was clean and well kept. Would defiantly rent here again!

Beautiful home

We arrived after the office closed and easily located the after hours check in. The paper description of the property needs to be updated because the home exterior has been painted blue/grey/white, so we were cautious when trying the key code for check in. The interior is gorgeous and more spacious than the pictures show. We definitely spent plenty of nights playing pool and ping pong on the provided tables. The kitchen definitely lacked larger cookware for our crowd of 9 people, so we had to split some one pot meals into 2 pots/pans. I think the property hadn’t been dusted since the previous people stayed because there were dusty cobwebs on the light fixtures and dust on the master bath fixtures- easily overlooked but definitely noticed. The dryer took several rounds to dry clothes and got VERY hot on the outside top (as I addressed at checkout) and the dishwasher bottom rack wheels kept coming off-2 were melted in the bottom when we arrived. The master bedroom mattress was also very uncomfortable, especially if you have back or neck problems. It also squeaked with the slightest movement. The property was very conveniently located with beach access on both ends of the street and not too far a drive from anything else (get the Park Tybee app and save yourself from carrying quarters for parking). Overall, I was pleased with the property. The inconveniences were minor but could be improved to make vacationing more relaxed.
