âThis hotel was excellent value for money. Our room was VERY spacious relative to other places we stayed in Tokyo/Osaka etc., and the amenities were high quality. We could see mountains out of one window and Matsumoto Castle out of the other, and it was a very easy walk to the Castle and many restaurants. âThe staff being "very helpful and nice" is often the most important factor for a great stay.
A clean room is a baseline expectation, but having it be "big" is a wonderful bonus that adds to comfort.
A "welcome drink & snake every night at the lobby" is a unique and generous touch. It shows the hotel goes the extra mile to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

âThe resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if thatâs what youâre looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but thereâs a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku.

âIncredible stay and experience at 軜äșæČąæŁźććŁ! The staff was so helpful and assisted us with everything we needed including making 2 amazing meals for our group. The ç· cabin was the perfect size for our 6 person group and we were really able to utilize the space and location to maximize our time in Karuizawa. We especially loved the wood burning stove in the cabin and used it during a snowstorm to have the coziest night of our trip. I highly recommend anyone interested take advantage of this...
