New Zelands most active cone volcano and one of the few active marine volcano that you can tour! A once in a lifetime experience but a tip for those who get sea sick, take something before the boat trip out there! The boat slowed down about half way out and it got a buy rocky but we got to see many dolphins so it was very cool! Also, for those who dont like the smell of sulfur, they do give you gas masks to help! #adventure #newzealand #whiteisland

”A well appointed convenient and comfortable loft with fantastic views. Very pleasant and quiet in the late afternoon and evening. We were dismayed at the level of evasive noise including music and clearly audible conversation from the cafe below beginning around 7.20am until the end of the day. Jos did address the loud music in the early hours but still a lot of noise coming from below. Descent sound installation would help. If you are not bothered by noise then a great place to stay”

”The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and...
