”An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!”

”Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! We will be returning again in the future.”

”This little place a stunning we have the best time and great location There were a couple of things that I would add a long mirror in the bedroom would be great.And the bedding was so hot for this time of year fleece bedding and a feather duvet was a bit much.But we will be back.”

”We had a thoroughly enjoyable three night stay here. The lodge is well equipped with everything you could need. It’s very well decorated with some lovely finishing touches. The beds and sofas were all very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the throws and cushion covers on the sofas could have done with a wash as they were covered in dog hairs. We would definitely look to stay here again in the summer, and hopefully the weather will be in our favour.”

”Wonderful stay! Totally peaceful, with no noise apart from birdsong - just utter bliss.Our host was very attentive if we contacted, but left us to our own devices at all other times.Cooking facilities were great and you could quite easily stay here for the week without stepping outside of the boundary. We saw plenty of butterflies, birds, rabbits and even a hedgehog. Hottub was an amazing addition.The access to the cabin is quite rural, but we were pre-warned! 100% recommend this beautiful and...

”Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...
