Hiljainen pakopaikka lähellä kaikkea!

Se on hiljainen koti metsässä, jolla on pääsy kaikkiin Columbia-joen rotkoihin. Se sijaitsee Underwood-vuorella Washingtonin puolella rotkoa. Se on maaseudun naapurustossa, jossa on lyhyen 10 minuutin ajomatka Hood Riveriin (2 dollarin siltamaksu) ja 5 minuutin ajomatka White Salmoniin.

Koti sijaitsee muutaman minuutin päässä neljästä parhaasta Washingtonin viinitilasta: Aniche-kellarit (näkyvät ajotieltä,. 5 mailin kävelymatka), Hawkins-kellarit, Willow-viinikellarit ja White Salmon Vineyard. Gorge Crest Vineyard -hääpaikka on myös kahden minuutin päässä talosta.

Wifi ja Hulu / Netflix / Apple-tilin käyttöoikeudet. Leikkipaikka lapsille. Tämä koti sijaitsee 2. 5 hehtaarin rauhallisessa metsässä. Siellä on suuri pysäköintialue useille autoille ja turvallinen autotalli kaikille mukanaan tuomille rotkon varusteille (polkupyöriä, leijaa, purjelautailua, kajakkeja, suksia jne.) Lähellä Washingtonin puolella leija ja purjelautailu käynnistyy. 35 minuutin ajomatka Mt. Hupun niityt. Vuodepaikkoja 11 henkilöä.

Overall was an amazing place to stay and have a family reunion hiking trip! It was clean, well stocked kitchen with all the cooking equiptment you need and a huge fridge! The hot tub was amazing and the back porch is great for stargazing in the early morning. Really a gem! Thanks for having us!

One of our favorite meals was preparing roasted salmon, asparagus and salad and eating together with a bottle of good Oregon wine. We enjoyed the outside space in the evenings. While no one used the hot tub, it is a nice feature. The birthday girl thanks you again for the nice assortment of fruit you sent her.

Beautiful!

My sisters & I stayed four nights while exploring the Columbia River Gorge. The location is perfect-conveniently located but private. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfy & the outdoor space is relaxing and peaceful. Communication with Kylan was very easy. The provided digital guestbook includes all the information needed for a carefree stay.

Perfect family retreat

We loved our stay in Underwood! The house was super clean, kid friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked! The kids enjoyed playing games from the game closet and sledding in the yard. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this home for a family getaway! We visit this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful property, inside and out. It was the perfect spot for our family to stay in while we were in town for fall wedding festivities. The house was clean, modern and convenient. Windows let in lots of light, and showcased beautiful forest setting. Living spaces upstairs and downstairs allowed privacy for various family members. The yard was stunning, with lots of private space to hang out. Kylan was great to work with. We were able to plan a small event while staying within her house rules.

Very thorough, clean and well equipped. You can tell the owners and those responsible for our stay actually care. It was wonderful for our family. And cool amenities! Fire pit and Spa. Made celebrating my dads 80th very very special

Great for multiple families!

We choose this home due to it’s close proximity to Rocky Hill Events where my daughter got married. The home was great for multiple families however it is wise to check into the rules when you are booking this property for a wedding. The home was very clean and comfortable for our families!

Happy Wedding stay

The property was perfect for our family of 10 that included 3 kids. Having the second kitchen /living downstairs area was also beneficial. Sitting in the backyard in the early evenings was very relaxing and we were able to enjoy some of the games and the great hot tub. Our biggest problem was we didn't get to spend much time at the place as the various wedding events kept us on the move. I would love to go back and enjoy more time at the unit and in the town of White Salmon. The location worked out well for us because the wedding reception was just up the road at the Gorge Crest Vineyard which also was spectacular. Very quiet and remote location and very relaxing.

Don't miss this house

This home is everything you'll need for a Pacific Northwest Adventure. On a swimming hole journey to the PNW, we were looking for a place that could house our entire group. When we found this listing online, we knew it was the one. The young boys on the trip (5 & 6) were asked what their favorite swimming hole was and they said, "the hot tub" (at the house). :) The home is wonderful and a great welcome packet was found when we arrived. Long before we arrived, we had terrific communication with the host, Kylan. She has been an absolute delight, and even if you don't rent chat with this bastion of information on the area. She's the real reason this is a 5 star place as she genuinely cares on making the trip the best it can be. After a crash damaged the bridge near the home, she provided constant updates, going above and beyond. Kylan's the best - why can't she run for president in 2024?

Great family weekend

Our large family of grandparents, adult children and 6 grandkids had plenty of room for all. The hot tub was a big hit after skiing at cooper spur about 30 minute drive. White salmon is a beautiful little town just a few miles away.

40th birthday surprise

Several of us flew from all over the country to surprise my sister for her 40th birthday. This was a great place for all of us. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out, but an equal amount of space for us to have our own space as well. The downstairs was a little cold, but we grabbed extra blankets. The kitchen was very well stocked as well. Highly recommend for any variety of medium group gatherings. Kylan was responsive and very willing to work with me.

Our family group stayed here during our daughter's wedding.The house and surrounding property are clean and tidy. A welcome basket greeted us; which is a nice touch. There are indoor/outdoor activities for children. However, a no shoes policy and chalkboard rules feel restrictive [but understandable]. The neighbors may be friendly but their dog will interrupt a stroll with its barking and growling.

Great For Family Getaway

This property was so comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Everything was as pictured and presented in the listing. Our family of 5 adults had plenty of room and enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The location was perfect. Very quiet and peaceful with occasional deer, turkeys, and rabbits dropping by. Yard games on hand were a big plus. Didn’t get to use the fire pit due to fire danger. The location was perfect for visiting wineries, breweries, waterfalls and more! There is a cash only toll bridge linking White Salmon and Hood River for $2 per trip. There is so much to do in this area. We hope to come back and stay at this property again.

Annual HoodRiver Trip

The house was clean, close to the city of Hood River and accommodated our group well. The booking process on VRBO was seem-less, but the booking process with the property management company that manages the property was time consuming, included a rental agreement on top of what we signed on VRBO and a guest/vehicle registration that required keying in a lot of guest info (I.e. email, cell phone numbers of all 7 members in our party and the license plates of all vehicles that would be on the property). If there is a way to condense the forms and limit information requests, this would be a 5 star review.

Great family vacation location

If you looking for a relaxed location in the woods and enough room to spread out and have fun, look no further. The amenities outdoors for kids and adults to play games, hang out, chat and then have enough room to never feel you are on top of each other you will be challenged to beat this. So close to outdoor activities, Hood River and all water sports - hard to beat. Lots of space to park cars. The large dining room table also awesome. Cannot say enough about this place for a large family. We are grandparents, had sons, daughter in law and 5 grandkids ranging in age from 8 to 22. All had a blast. Thank you !

Perfect set-up

House is exactly as described. We were there to house family for a Hood River/Mount Hood wedding so we didn’t use the hot tub (no time) or the fire pit (outdoor burn ban). But the house had ample room for everyone and was well appointed. Instructions were clear. Beautiful setting and very handy to our needs across the River where the wedding events occurred. Also close to family staying in Hood River lodgings. Highly recommend!
