”The rooms advertised on the internet do not match the reality. It is 2 star hotel at best. Rooms are very outdated, balcony is extremely dirty.”

”Very good value: big pool, and three smaller hot tubs with varying water temperatures. Impressive sitting room, good food. Lots of hikes locally, and the nearby N Bonneville dam visitor center is interesting.”

”It was ok for the money. We just needed a place to stay for a night, wasn’t expecting a lot. I did like how they have small stoves in the rooms if one decided they wanted to cook.”

”The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable; the clothes hanging rack was broken and falling off the wall; the seating in the dining area was not clean; overall it was ok, but not worth the money spent for our three night stay. I’ve stayed at better lower budget hotels.”

”Every thing was clean, attractive and comfortable. The towels were thick and the bathrobe was very nice. My only complaint is parking. There is only street parking and during the hours that you have to pay at the parking meters you have to pay every 3 hours. You can do this with an app. I parked about 4 blocks from the hotel and later, after dinner, I was able to park only a block away.”

”We arrived before check-in time, but the desk staff was really helpful - gave us a call when the room was ready, so we were able to go on a bike ride around Hood River. I always appreciate older, classic properties, and the Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa is a gem. Great, comfortable room, great food at Valentino's, and grounds that make you want to explore. The price was great, and we'll stay again the next time we're in town.”

”The wall we’re so thin we heard a couple across the way fighting until all hours of the morning until management had to come and tell them to leave and then even after that they continue to fight”

”The electrical needs to be updated to provide for electronics. Also the air conditioner needs to be moved and not by the TV. Everything else is calm and serene.”

”Great spot! Remote and with great views of mt hood! Lots of amenities, games, entertainment, and great food at the restaurant ! Smores provided. Fire pits . Comfy seats to watch the sunset. The tents were perfectly sized and the beds were comfortable.”

”The property was very well appointed, staff was very helpful and the room was immaculate. The best part of this property was our river view from the Balcony. And the worst part is I only stayed 1 day! I had never imagined that a Best Western Hotel could have an upscale hotel but I was wrong!! Great Job!”
