”Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples.”

”Gretchen and Chris are amazing hosts! They are so friendly, full of information to share and suggestions for the area, and make you feel at home. Their property is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I toured around Oregon for 10 days and this was my favorite stay!”

”When arrived, was waiting’s for 1h 40 minutes to check in because room wasn’t ready. I had a disabled old person seating in the car for all this time. Terrible experience, never had before at any locations I booked. ”

”We had the king room with mineral hot tub facing the parking lot. It was great to have access to hot tub outside the door. Unfortunately it rained the entire time of our stay so we didn't get to explore the outsid eif the propery much, as there is mini golf outside. Our room was a little on the hotter side and took us a while to figure out the temperature. They do have a microwave, but it is a communal one and could be s little walk”

”Staff could have been a little more friendly and keeping the open table area cleaner. Also the pool was frequently out of towels and reception was at lunch so there were no towels. ”

”This place is phenomenal!! The checkin process is seamless and the hosts are very communicative. The location is perfectly walkable and it comes with a parking pass. The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every little detail! We really appreciated the extra touch they added by going above and beyond with amenities like snacks, beverages, and toiletries. I can’t wait to come back!! ”

”We stayed at The Dalles Inn which is connected to The Rayland but is the less expensive option. We highly recommend. Super clean. Great bed and pillows. You can tell it’s an older hotel the has been remodeled a few times but it is well done. We would definitely stay there again. Greg at the front desk is amazing.”

”Staff was great. Only problem was my brother, who smokes. So we had a second floor room, and the stairs wear me out.”

”It was clean. Lady at desk was a little short with me. Also, didn’t understand why I had to come back in the morning & wait for them to check my room before she would refund my deposit. Not a huge deal but we did wait til last minute to leave so waiting on that made me late for next event ”
