”I was able to get very early (free) check-in and also late check-out. the hotel has a great and long history and it locates in fabulous and busy area in Stone Town. easy to find! many restaurants nearby, also only just 200 m to the beach. no place for parking nearby! ”It was brand new hotel, the rooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. The bed was good, restaurants were good, service was excellent. The garden was magnificent. Only thing where they really should focus is beach area cleaning. Not just around deckchairs -> real beach cleaning, to collect bottles, glass, other garbage away from the beach and teach also that to local boats crews and fisherman. So that beach area can stay nice and clean in future also. ”

”Stunning hotel, very reasonable price. We ended up opting for half board and this worked out well for us. There was always plenty of options on the buffet which were good, we did not find that the ala carte options were very tasty at all. The staff were all so kind and helpful. ”Lovely small hotel with direct access to the beach. Very smiley, attentive staff. Comfortable rooms, though the shower was a little disappointing. We enjoyed our meals, especially the fish stew. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel, having really enjoyed the three nights we stayed there. My husband would thoroughly recommend the massage which he rated one of the best and reasonably priced too!”
