”It was brand new hotel, the rooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. The bed was good, restaurants were good, service was excellent. The garden was magnificent. Only thing where they really should focus is beach area cleaning. Not just around deckchairs -> real beach cleaning, to collect bottles, glass, other garbage away from the beach and teach also that to local boats crews and fisherman. So that beach area can stay nice and clean in future also. ”

”We spent 4 nights in June 2014 at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort and we really enjoyed our stay. It took a bit over one hour from the airport to reach the hotel. We used a taxi which I highly recommend. Cost was 60 USD. Police had many road blocks along to way, so make sure your driver has his paper work in order.
