”This is an amazing property to stay in Zanzibar. We were upgraded to the frangipani villa which was spacious and well appointed. The private pool was great. The main swimming pool is huge and doesn’t get too crowded. The food options at the main dining room were good with a lot of vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner. ”TOA Hotel & Spa Zanzibar is a fairly new, very clean and cozy resort. The beach isn’t great for swimming, but we knew this at the time of the booking. The pool area is nice, but the water is a bit cold. We booked a room with a jacuzzi, but unfortunately there were quite a few problems with the jacuzzi. They tried to clean and fix the jacuzzi a few times, but the water temperature would not hold comfortable (either too hot or cold) and the jacuzzi kept getting debris from the hosing. The room...

”It was brand new hotel, the rooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. The bed was good, restaurants were good, service was excellent. The garden was magnificent. Only thing where they really should focus is beach area cleaning. Not just around deckchairs -> real beach cleaning, to collect bottles, glass, other garbage away from the beach and teach also that to local boats crews and fisherman. So that beach area can stay nice and clean in future also. ”
