”20m2 huone oli n.13m2. Kylpyhuone piti olla huoneessa, oli käytävässä. Patio piti olla joka huoneessa, ei ollut minkäänlaista parveketta, terassia tai verantaa yhdestäkään huoneesta. Piti olla ravintola, ei löytynyt kummastakaan rakennuksesta. Piti olla ilmainen pullovesi, maksoi 1 dollari/pullo. Piti olla siivous joka päivä, viikon aikana siivottiin kahdesti, toinen kerta pyynnöstä, edes pyyhkeitä ei vaihdettu wc:ssä eikä huoneessa. Piti olla puutarha, ainoa sisäänkäynti kadulta, talon...

”Paikka lähellä nähtävyyksiä vanhassa kaupungissa. Englannin kielitaito heikkoa, mutta halua auttaa löytyi. Aamiainen yksinkertainen talon katolla. Talossa ei ollut hissiä. Yksi ihminen teki kaikki palvelut, vastaanotto, aamiainen, pyykkipalvelu ja vielä siivoaminenkin. Hän oli auttavainen ja neuvoi paikkoja, vaikka yhteistä kieltä ei ollutkaan. Vartiointi oli huolimatonta ja sisään pääsi illalla ulkopuolisia ihmisiä. Eräs avasi illalla myöhään huoneemme oven, kun olimme menossa nukkumaan. Ovi ei...

”The local employees were good, food was great and the rooftop is super nice! We stayed for two nights and the experience was ruined when there was a rain and the doors weren’t in best shape. The water came through the door and the hotel room was full of water. All my clothes and bags were wet. The way the manager handled things weren’t good at all. I tried to dry my things and had to go through every single thing I had with me. Some shoes were destroyed and the whole thing took me half a day....

”I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to”

”Excellent location with a close walk to the beach and restaurants etc. Room was clean and great value for money. Staff were helpful, brought us a hairdryer when we needed it and breakfast was plentiful! A great little place to stay. ”
